May 5th it's a holiday in Japan called Kodomo no hi or Children's Day. Since the boys were off school and Cameron didn't have to go to work, we decided to have a barbacue with some of our friends. Since it was almost time for Isabel's birthday, I baked a chocolate cake and we sang "happy birthday". Isabel didn't know what to make of it, but she did LOVE the cake!.JPG)

The kids had a blast playing with their friends and we enjoyed a pleasant day filled with good food and wonderful company. We need to do it more often!
