Last Friday I accompanied Vanya on a field trip. We went to "Yoyogi Hachiman Shrine". It was probably the last hot day of the year, and it was VERY hot. We had a lot of fun sweating and swatting mosquitoes.
The Shrine wasn't very big but it was very peaceful. All the children followed the ritual:
- Wash your hands
- Throw money in
- Ring the bell
- Clap your hands 3 times and make a wish
Vanya was very serious with the ritual, it was cute. Then we walked to a big park where the children had a picnic lunch and run around with their friends. I love going in these field trips and watching Vanya interact with his friends and teachers. He also makes me feel very special because he becomes extra loving and cuddly and is so proud to have me there. It is also fun to spend time with him one on one.
